Fabric selection

Bathroom fabrics: privacy and moisture

Choose bathroom fabrics according to the specific collection's suitability for humid conditions. This does not mean the material can be kept wet or installed anywhere.

01 / Choosing fabrics

The privacy you need every day.

Start with the level of privacy you want and the window's position. Assess a sample in daylight and consider evening use with the lights on. A light-transmitting fabric does not automatically provide the privacy you need.

Coordinate the colour with your walls, furniture and window frame, but first select materials intended for the conditions in the room.

02 / Choosing fabrics

Humidity and splashing are different conditions.

A manufacturer's indication that a fabric is suitable for humid rooms does not mean unlimited water resistance. Tell your consultant whether the window is near a shower, bath or washbasin and whether condensation collects on it.

Key points: consider the fabric, its installation position and the complete system together.

03 / Choosing fabrics

Easy to use and care for.

Check that you can easily reach the controls, open the window and clean the surfaces. Obtain clear care instructions for the specific fabric before ordering. The fabric's properties do not remove the need to ventilate the room.
