Which curtain control to choose?
To choose the right VELUX blind control, think about the location of the roof windows and how often you will want to adjust the position of the blinds.
Both solar and electric blinds are controlled remotely and are a great option if VELUX roof windows are not available or if you want to give a loft room a sense of innovative luxury.
Manual operation with control handle and locking in any position

Manually operated roller blinds are very easy to use. The curtain is attached to the top sheet of the skylight and slides into the side rails, ensuring smooth operation and locking in any position. Simply use the control knob at the bottom of the shade to raise or lower it as desired.
You can also purchase a wand, wand extension and wand adapters to make it easier to operate a manual blind with a control knob.
Remote control with electricity

Remotely and electrically controlled blackout curtains are controlled by the smart VELUX INTEGRA® remote control touch screen supplied with the VELUX INTEGRA® roof window. It is an intuitive solution that allows you to control the blinds remotely. The VELUX INTEGRA® control panel has a large number of preset programs that ensure everyday comfort and a better indoor climate. You can control the blind from anywhere in the room and enjoy all the possibilities provided by preset programs, such as programming to raise and lower at certain hours.
If necessary, the blind can be raised and lowered manually with the control handle at the bottom of the blind.
What if I don't have an electrically operated VELUX INTEGRA® roof window?
If you do not have an electrically operated VELUX INTEGRA® roof window, but would like an electrically operated blind, try the KUX 100 control system. With it, you can use electrically operated VELUX blinds or blinds in manually operated windows. Or try the KMX 100 control system and turn all manually operated skylights into automatic ones. With the control system KMX 100, you will be able to control several electrical products.
Remote control with solar energy

Remotely and solar powered blackout blinds are operated with the control panel provided with the blind. If you have a solar powered VELUX INTEGRA® roof window, you can also use the VELUX INTEGRA® touch screen smart control panel that comes with the VELUX INTEGRA® roof window.
The VELUX INTEGRA® control panel has a large number of preset programs that ensure everyday comfort and a better indoor climate. You can control the blind from anywhere in the room and enjoy all the possibilities provided by preset programs, such as programming to raise and lower at certain hours.
If necessary, the solar curtain can also be operated manually. The solar-charged cell lasts up to 600 operations, even in the absence of direct sunlight to recharge it.
