Two fabrics with different levels of light transmission in one window. DUO pleated blinds combine a brighter room by day with greater privacy or stronger dimming in the evening. We will coordinate both fabrics with your interior and daily routine.

We will bring pleated fabric samples for you to hold against the glass, assess their light transmission and match them to your furniture, walls, window frames and overall interior. Our consultant will help you choose a fabric to suit the room, your privacy needs and the desired level of dimming. Together, we will also choose a profile colour that complements your window.

Soft light by day. More privacy in the evening.

A light-filtering fabric softens daylight, while a denser fabric provides greater privacy and more dimming. Choose a combination for your living room, bedroom or child's room. The degree of darkening depends on the fabric and installation.

Choose which fabric covers the window.

Use the middle rail to adjust how much of the window is covered by each fabric. Change the balance to suit changing light conditions without replacing the blind.

Precise measuring and coordinated fabrics.

Our visiting consultant will assess the window dimensions, fixing positions and space for the stacked fabrics. We will hold samples against the glass so you can assess light transmission and choose complementary shades.

Installation tailored to your window.

We will check that the system does not obstruct window opening and that you can comfortably reach the operating rails. Fixings and components will be selected for your specific window construction.

How do pleated blind systems differ?

The standard system lets you move the top and bottom rails to cover the part of the window you choose. The DUO system combines two fabrics, while the cord-operated version raises and lowers the fabric with the headrail remaining fixed. Trapezoidal windows, roof windows and conservatories use systems adapted to their shape and slope.

Can it be motorised?

We will assess whether motorisation is possible for your chosen system and window. We will discuss suitable controls during your consultation.
