We will bring pleated fabric samples for you to hold against the glass, assess their light transmission and match them to your furniture, walls, window frames and overall interior. Our consultant will help you choose a fabric to suit the room, your privacy needs and the desired level of dimming. Together, we will also choose a profile colour that complements your window.

Fabric adapted to a sloping window.

Fabric needs proper support on a sloping surface. Tensioned guide cords help hold it close to the window and limit sagging into the room. The blinds follow the window's slope and fit neatly into the conservatory.

Before choosing a system, we will assess the window height and how you will reach the blinds. We will discuss controls and fabric movement according to the specific configuration.

We will measure and assess the window slope.

Our consultant will check the window dimensions, slope, fixing positions and opening mechanism. We will assess fabric tension and the clearances needed for smooth movement without obstructing the window.

Installation to suit your conservatory window construction.

Fixings and system components will be selected individually. We will recommend fabric depending on whether you want to diffuse bright light, add privacy or darken the room more effectively.

How do pleated blind systems differ?

The standard system lets you move the top and bottom rails to cover the part of the window you choose. The DUO system combines two fabrics, while the cord-operated version raises and lowers the fabric with the headrail remaining fixed. Trapezoidal windows, roof windows and conservatories use systems adapted to their shape and slope.

Can it be motorised?

We will assess whether motorisation is possible for your chosen system and window. We will discuss suitable controls during your consultation.
